SPA by JW experience

I was curious to try this relatively new spa that is in the JW Marriott hotel in downtown Austin on my staycation. The spa is minimally designed with a reception that also goes straight to the rooftop pool and bar. When I arrived I signed a form letting them know my reasons for visiting and specifically areas I wanted them to focus on. I got a classic massage and a rejuvenating facial. The products that they used for my facial were Skin Ceuticals.

The rooftop pool and bar has great views of Congress Ave.

First, they used the Simply Clean Gel followed by the Equalizing toner. The main 2 treatments that they used on me was a gylcolic peel and a vitamin C mask. These two in combination brightened and exfoliated excellently. She then used a B5 gel and a CE ferulic serum.

This serum is a magic worker.

The moisturized that she selected for my combination skin type was the Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2. The ingredients are 2% pure ceramides 1&3, 4% natural cholesterol, and 2% fatty acids. This is an anti-aging powerhouse formula but comes with a pretty hefty price tag of $128 for 1.6 fl oz. Of all they used during the facial, I would probably buy the B5 gel and CE ferulic serum. Overall, my experience was positive.
